QinetiQ - Recruitment of permanent project managers

The recruitment of four project managers over one year supported the delivery of projects within this QinetiQ division.

The Challenge

As part of their on going recruitment drive to install key project managers in critical areas of the business QinetiQ required Provek to provide suitable candidates that matched requirements for one of their divisions. These were crucial roles with a wide scope. The chosen project managers would be working across various projects from initial conception, research, design, development, advice, and procurement through to equipment supply and commissioning.

The Solution

Our task was to locate suitable candidates with the suitable experience and relevant strengths.

With a mixture of advertising, cross referencing and speaking to Provek Alliance Members we managed to locate three of our best candidates for this role. Each candidate short listed was required to complete our assessment tool PMA5 in order to evaluate their programme and project management knowledge, skills and ability. Some were rejected based upon these results and our screening interviews.
