Determining training needs for NATS

NATS provides air traffic control services to aircraft flying in UK airspace, and over the eastern part of the North Atlantic. NATS has been working with Provek recently on a detailed training needs analysis of the programme and project management (PPM) community. Over 60 PPM professionals completed a specially customised version of Provek’s leading online assessment tool, PMA5. Each received a five-page report of their benchmarked strengths and areas for development. Overall trends and training priorities were reported for the different programme and project roles. Sara Payne, a NATS People Capability & Resourcing Manager, commented "This approach has provided a very effective means of perceptively identifying our PPM community’s training needs." Outplacement training for HCS clients

HCS is a leading provider of outplacement services. HCS is delivering a major contract providing support back into work for executive, managerial and graduate staff who have recently been made redundant. HCS has teamed up with its sister company Provek to provide their clients with relevant and valuable training. Gaining PRINCE2 through a HCS commissioned course run locally gives each person a recognised qualification in project management that supports their job applications. Further details

Provek’s new Competence Profiler is the most accessible means of deploying the APM Competence Framework. It is innovative, quick, accurate and adds considerable value through the reports available to the individual and at an aggregate level.
