Tailored training to enhance project delivery capabilities

Arqiva operates at the heart of the broadcast and mobile communications industry and is at the forefront of network solutions and services in our increasingly digital world.   Following a business merger and reorganisation last year, Arqiva is now working with Provek to develop the project management understanding and capabilities of project managers and teams.  This has resulted in the design and delivery of a 1-day workshop totally tailored to the Arqiva ‘Project Management Methodology’ which itself is based on PRINCE2.  Provek has previously worked with Arqiva to provide accredited Managing Successful Programmes development and targeted 1-day and 2-day best-practice project management training and further accredited APM training is being planned for 2010.

Developing Isle of Wight project management

The launch of a major transformation programme and the demands of a number of challenging capital programmes to benefit island communities presented the Isle of Wight Council with the need to further improve its project management competency. Through a rigorous competitive tendering process Provek suggested an approach for assessing and training key project staff to achieve the required outcomes, and was appointed to work with the council. The council’s training goals include improved standards, the consistent application of processes and recognition of expertise through professional project management qualifications. Pioneering PPM competence assessment

Our clients continue to benefit from Provek’s unique online programme and project management assessment techniques PMA5 and Scored CV.  These have been deployed by major organizations, such as Vodafone, MOD, Serco as well as many others, to robustly and cost-effectively determine training needs and capability levels of whole populations of project staff.  Of particular interest to clients is the ability to benchmark their results to those of the wider industry as more than 6,000 candidates have completed these assessments.  Read more
