APM Registered Project Professional
The new APM Registered Project Professional (RPP) was launched on 1st March 2011. Provek's managing director was on the Working Group which developed the standard and our training director has been awarded the standard and has become one of the first qualified assessors.
The APM Registered Project Professional will recognise practitioners who can demonstrate the capabilities of a responsible leader, have the ability to manage a complex project and use appropriate project management tools, processes and techniques.
Provek was the first Accredited Provider of the APM to have an accredited RPP Assessor. Neil Mooney, training director, is available to give advice, guidance and support to individuals and companies on all aspects of RPP. He recently featured in a podcast with the APM on the RPP - listen now.
Provek can support individuals and organisations wanting to achieve the Registered Project Professional standard by:
- assessing the readiness of project managers to apply for the standard. See for example, Provek's competence profiler based on the APM Competence Framework
- supporting project managers during their application with detailed guidance and advice on how to present their competence evidence and how to prepare for their professional discussion.
