Dr Andrew Delo, managing director
Andrew joined Provek in 2002 and has led the company since 2007. He pioneered the development of comprehensive online assessment techniques for project staff and leads that area of Provek’s business. Formerly the training director for Provek, he is an experienced training consultant and has worked with a range of organisations on the design and delivery of project management development programmes. Following his university education and research degree, Andrew’s early career was in public health construction, becoming a chartered civil engineer. He then moved into specialist consultancy services in the water industry and having gained an MBA moved on to run various training and technology transfer businesses. His project management experience spans civil engineering, software development and professional services.
Neil Mooney, training director
Neil joined Provek in 2007 to lead the training and development business and is responsible for the management of all training assignments with our major clients. Neil is an APM Practitioner Qualification assessor and was one of the first to achieve APM Registered Project Professional (RPP) designation both as candidate and as assessor. Neil is actively involved in the advancement of project management through voluntary contributions to APM Body of Knowledge 6th Edition, various working groups and participation in the first APM RPP pilot programme. Neil’s early career was in the manufacturing industry within research and development, quality management, manufacturing plant and operations management gaining a wide range of invaluable experiences which led on to full time roles in pan-European major business improvement projects. To further his development in delivering change, Neil for the next 10 years moved in to client-facing consulting in project environments across both the private and public sectors working for PwC Consulting, IBM Business Consulting Services and Serco Consulting.
