Carers Pack

A self-study pack for carers wanting to enter work or learning

If you look after a child or adult who has a disability, illness or addiction and are looking to return to work, education or training - the Carers Pack can help you achieve this.

Many people give up jobs outside the home to care for a member of their family, a neighbour or a friend.

The Carers Pack has been developed to help carers and former carers rediscover their confidence and provide them with the skills and information they need to get back to work.

Looking after your future!

The Carers Pack will help you to:

  • identify and assess the strengths and skills which you have gained from your experience of life
  • explore and make informed choices about the opportunities open to you
  • plan or prepare for moving on

This pack was developed in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council.
